ABSL Diamonds were created to award projects and initiatives that had a significant and tangible impact on the business services sector and its stakeholders.

Each nominee can receive up to 100 points per category. Each category has four major criteria. The judge allocates the points from 0 to 25, assigned to each criteria.

When can I apply?

The system opens for submissions on 14 September 2015 and closes on 31 October 2015.

My company is not an ABSL Member, can I still apply?

Yes. The aim of the ABSL Diamonds Competition is to inspire the business services community by recognizing initiatives that showcase a continuous strive for excellence and strengthen the sector’s position as the powerhouse of the Polish economy. The awards are open to all BPO, Shared Services Centers, Captive Centers, ITO, RDO that have established a center in Poland.

Is there a fee for applying?

No. Submitting a nomination is free of charge.

How can I submit a nomination?

In order to submit your nomination, you have to first register the company you represent on the ABSL Diamonds website – Within 12 hours, a password required to login and finalize the registration process will be provided. Upon completing registration, you will be able to submit an online application form in a chosen award category. The application form contains questions linked with evaluation criteria set up for every category type. There is a word count restriction for each question. Additional documents and materials (such as movies, presentations, hyperlinks) may be uploaded for reference.

Can a third party nominate a company?

No. The nominations are to be submitted exclusively by individuals representing the company that is being nominated.

Can I submit more than one nomination for my company in one category?

No, each company can submit one nomination only in one category.

Can I submit more than one nomination for my company in different categories?

Yes. Each nomination should fall into 1of 8 categories which represent different areas of a company’s performance. Given the wide range of initiatives, this may translate into a number of entries in different categories.

Is there any limitation to submitting projects/initiatives based on when they were carried out?

A company can nominate a project that started and concluded with visible results, in the last 18 months (March 2014 – September 2015).

Can my nomination contain confidential information? How will such data be protected?

Before submitting any confidential information, please consult your company’s policy in this regard. All information relating to the project/initiative that a company is being nominated for may be subject to publication in a form of a case study upon winning the award. Winners may be further consulted or asked to provide input to the final version of the case study. All details about projects which will not qualify for the final will not be publicly shared.

Can I attach any reference materials to my nomination?

Yes. All documents that provide evidence of results achieved or a sample of work done may be shared as part of the nomination process.

How many winners per category will there be?

There will be 1 winner per category.

Who is on the jury panel?

The jury panel is composed of independent and recognized experts from the Business Services Sector field. With many years’ experience and expertise in the field, they will act as gate keepers by providing a fair, transparent and unbiased assessment of the applications across all categories. You can view our 2015 jury panel on the ABSL Diamonds website. Furthermore an external auditor will additionally review the jury’s decision regarding the winning candidates to ensure compliance with rules and regulations. Any attempt to privately contact the jury members by any of the participants will result in disqualification from the contest.

I have submitted a nomination. What’s next?

Your nomination will be assessed by the independent jury and the auditor who will ensure overall compliance with rules and regulations. The top rated companies (estimated 5 per category) will be revealed in the second half of November 2015. The winners from each category will be announced at the ABSL Diamonds Gala Awards on 10th December 2015.
